A meditation on impermanence, loss of indigenous language, an inability to understand our fathers, and an attempt to honor the natural cycles of life and death. Low-res camera trap footage from community-driven Yukon River ecology surveys is juxtaposed with cell phone recordings, Skype interviews, field recordings, and music composed by the filmmaker.
